The Creative Brisbane Awards celebrate the partnerships, projects and collaborations helping to shape Brisbane’s vibrant cultural landscape. The Awards recognise the contribution of artists, cultural organisations, businesses and partners working together to strengthen Brisbane’s creative sector and bring innovative ideas to life.

The Awards aim to:

• Celebrate outstanding partnerships supporting a vibrant cultural life in Brisbane across a diverse range of arts and cultural forms.

• Showcase the diversity and richness of Brisbane’s arts and cultural offering.

• Encourage innovative partnerships between the cultural and corporate sectors, while highlighting the value of investment in arts and cultural programs.

• Provide a platform for artists and cultural organisations to gain greater recognition and visibility.

• Recognise innovative, community-focused projects making a tangible contribution to Brisbane’s cultural landscape.

2027 Award Categories

With the introduction of two new categories, Best Regional Queensland Collaboration and Best Interstate/International Collaboration, there are now 11 award categories available for consideration.

Affiliates are encouraged to start planning their entries and review the criteria for each category ahead of submissions opening.

Judging and Finalists

Entries will be assessed by an independent three-person judging panel for each category, with judging taking place throughout March 2027.

Finalists across all categories will be announced in early April 2027.

2027 Awards Gala

Winners will be announced at the 2027 Creative Brisbane Awards Gala in late April 2027.
